Focus, Belief and Routine

Consensual Reality, Backlash and Power Part III: It’s Called a Tricycle and It’s a Medical Condition

Okay, so far we’ve established that reality is a bit more malleable than often thought, reality pushes back when you push too hard, and that both reality, and governments, like everything to go smoothly. And by going smoothly that means reality reinforces itself. Things generally don’t become possible until enough people believe them to be possible.

Ouroboros to the core. Garbage in = garbage out. Go along to get along.

Go it.

So how does anyone get anything done?

If you scratch the surface on anyone who got anything done, magicians feature prominently in those four thousand, or so, souls that came up with something original in the last 1150 years. Don’t take my word for it check out Human Accomplishment by Charles Murray. Yes, that Charles Murray, the author of The Bell Curve. Just keep the book to yourself if you want to avoid way too many arguments with mid-wits of various stripe.

Okay, check, someone interested in bending reality is probably going to more inventive than your local CPA. So now what?

We still have some rules and a few tools.

First, focus is key. You need to be absolutely committed to what you are working in. The angel investor, and best selling author, Tim Ferris says he knows something isn’t going to work during a pitch if the guy pitching lacks enthusiasm for what he is working on. No excitement means no success.

This is not to say the process of success won’t suck horribly. A former girlfriend of Elon Musk reported that he would wake up screaming in the middle of the night when Space X, and Tesla, were both initially failing. And this is a guy who had been a serial millionaire since he was 25.

Second, belief breaks barriers and forms the basis of Akasha. Belief both informs the universe around you of what you want and is attractive unto itself. And that attraction is where things start to hit the road.

Third, the power of routine gets everything into high gear. And make no mistake good magicians are masters of this. While willpower is always in short supply, mastering routine harness the underlying nature of reality itself. Again, reality likes to keep going in the direction it is. So use this as a tool and stop viewing it as an obstacle.

By harnessing the triple power of focus, belief and routine virtually anything becomes possible as long as it is even loosely within the realm of consensual reality.

So, if you want a successful business it will probably take 3-5 years. Why? Because that is the normal business cycle for these kinds of things (i.e. this is what consensual reality says it should take). But that just governs the first time you do it. After the first time you can accelerate it.

Likewise, every self-made wealthy man says the same thin….the hardest thing to make is the first $100,000 USD followed shortly by the first $1M USD. After that things get easy. Why? You’ve already proven to reality that you can do it.

Reading How to Get Rich by Felix Dennis takes a lot of the romance out of the process and really shows you how the sausage is made. It is a must read for those who want financial independence. A warts and all business book that breaks the mold on the normal business biography about success and working hard, doing the right thing, providing value, blah blah blah.

So we have focus, belief and routine as our primary tools. And for normies this is enough. But we are magicians and we like to cheat…

Letter magic accelerates things by harnessing underlying forces very efficiently. Want more opportunity? Blast out some letter G on the regular. Focus on doing it on a Thursday, preferably during the hour of Jupiter. The crux of which is, as Basil King says, “Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid.” It helps if you call on them during the correct working hours though.

On that note, having a routine Jupiter working session every Thursday to push your agenda never hurts either. This is one area where the ritual guys really excel. Since they lack internal power, they are reliant upon routine gradually building up the energy to make things work.

Working those magnetic lines of forces and making sure to physically frequent places where people could be of help with you is a bright idea as well. You never know who you will meet by chance in the right elevator.

Accelerate your learning, and training, in your chosen field by using the letter A, which increases learning timeframes. Increase the through flow of energy from the mental to the astral using the letter I. You can get creative here.

One warning though, be cautious in your use of protective magics. Protective magics work by creating a barrier between you and the outside world. Lots of protective magic means no opportunity. More than one practitioner has found themselves without a job after following Crowley’s advice to perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram several times a day for a few weeks in a row. It is also why Crowley was an a-hole and should not be held in high regard by anyone. He intentionally placed traps in his works for the uninitiated. Fuck that guy. Seriously. Life is hard enough.

Notice all of that happens without leaning on another person’s free will. Bludgeoning another person into doing what you want to get ahead on something is the weak way out, builds a lot of negative karma and generally makes you a Crowley-esque a-hole as well. Also, bullies are people that punch down on people who cannot fight back. Remember that an untrained person with no understanding of magic has about a zero percent chance of fighting off a well versed practitioner over time.

And if that isn’t enough keep in mind that heavy hitters take a “smite first and ask questions never” approach to those who damage their familiars. It’s a universal issue of ownership with that crowd. Oddly, they often don’t care about the familiar. It is just the principle of doing something to a thing that belongs to them. Yes, this is not a modern view of things, and humanity, but you never know who belongs to whom.
