Propaganda

Consensual Reality, Backlash and Power Part II: The Deuce is Loose

Now comes the topic of propaganda and programming a population.

Two sides exist to this story. Multicultural societies don’t really exist. What societies end up with is a collection of groups in which one group is predominant, usually by virtue of population size although sometimes it is due to one group being better at violence, and a fair amount of conflict along the periphery of where these groups interact.

While this can, in theory, result in a more dynamic society it usually just results in a more violent society where “one group is more equal than others.” And of course this is maintained by force.

The before mentioned conflict continues until everyone norms into a single cultural group.

In the West this happened so long ago no one remembers it. A lot of the problems associated in a place like Iraq stem from the process being incomplete. Who can name all the tribal groups in Gaul? No one outside some very specialized academics.

Governments don’t like violent societies as the target of their violence can be unpredictable and is often the government itself.

So, what to do?

Start telling everyone to get along. Make up stories explaining why everything is normal and just fine. Lie about crime statistics, make up nonsense stories about why one group, or another, is disadvantaged, and how everyone else is responsible for this, etc.

None of this will be true. So how do you get the general population to go along with the program? You keep telling them the same story over and over. If you do this often enough in a young enough population, those people will begin to believe what you are telling them. And once they believe something, it takes a monumental effort to change that belief, especially if held from a young age.

It really is just that simple.

This in turn can change the fabric of reality if done on a large enough scale. But then you get the catch part of it…

Not everyone who says something believes what they are saying.

Ah…the joy of the two faced public. Sure, they’ll spout whatever nonsense the authorities are pushing to avoid being shipped off to the gulag. But they don’t really believe it. And they will get out of going along with it the second no one is looking.

But they also won’t fight it.

So, the authorities get to believe they’ve won the battle until rioting breaks loose and the head of the government gets hung/shot/cut into pieces.

Ain’t reality just grand?

So yes, the authorities can get the public to change reality by changing their beliefs, but aside from children, getting adults to do this is fairly unlikely.

In turn, this leads to the favorite activity of governments attempting to change the beliefs of their population and that involves killing off the unbelievers in their own society. Every revolution requires a good genocide to kick everything off. And to get rid of the older model of human beings that doesn’t really support the new regime.

”Just do it for the children,” they say. Well that does explain why the creepier movements always use children as their spokesmen. Of course, those same regimes will use children to murder off people as well. Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge comes to mind. All of this happens because kids will typically believe things, no matter how crazy, if you tell them it long enough.

And it sticks.

All of the ex-Soviet leadership after the fall of the USSR still believed in the power of communism. Gorbachev, for example, never recanted.

Lying to the public to get them to change reality works, but it does not work quickly. And you need to do it for a few generations before it begins to take effect.

My favorite example of this is fuckwit pagans at the end of the Roman Empire. Killing your unwanted children was so well accepted amongst the end stage pagans that it actually caused the whole society to collapse due to crashing demogrphics.

The Christian Church simply state that killing your unwanted children was a sin and that you should not do this.

Even with the church making this statement early and with regularity, it took 800 years from the time of the Christian takeover of Rome until roughly 1200 AD for enough unwanted children existed to have orphanages not devoted to the support of military members who had died.

Directly said, it took 800 years for the population of Western Europe to stop killing newborns until enough people ceased doing this for this to matter. And the even sadder follow on was it only took 80 years of legalized abortion in Western Europe until the same population doomed itself again. The last country with replacement level population numbers, Ireland, went below replacement level three years after the legalization of abortion.

Now many here will state, “this isn’t the same thing as drowning a baby in a bucket or leaving a child to die on a rock form exposure?” And those are both true statements.

But the end state is the same.

Add in a little magic of crowds from big public rallies and some well designed ball-above-head, everyone in the new regime needs a funny hat, right?…And you are off to the races.

It does not work on everyone, but it will work on enough people to get them to generally move them in the direction you want.

What to do about being propagandized?

First, unplug from media to the degree you can. Start by reducing the signal from the people that are putting it out.

Work with elemental magic, specifically things like the letters U and E. The nature of the letter U is such that it strips out beliefs imposed on a practitioner from their mental field.

Start paying attention to opposition voices, but only if you carefully vet them. Otherwise the risk of simply falling for someone else’s propaganda is high.

Realize many of the people pushing this are under the influence of other things anyway.

That herd animal instinct plays itself out over, and over, again through entire populations.

The short writeup here regarding governments and propaganda should get you started on figuring out how to beat these things .

Just don’t forget to journal what happens or you will loose your conscious memory of an event.

You might not be born free, but you can free yourself with enough effort.
